My reasoning for running for President/Vice President all comes down to the fact that I would like to keep not only the good state of ACM, but also I want to see growth as well. It has made some definite strides, it is probably the largest student org on campus and hosts some of the biggest events (ie Rowdyhacks). I've been involved in ACM long enough as both a junior officer and officer to understand the state of ACM. It is my goal to contribute to ACM positively as it matters to many, many people. Also, as an engineering major, I want to encourage many people from non-CS majors (not necessarily engineering) to get involved with ACM and feel welcome.
