Role Expectations

The RowdyHacks Committee shall be headed by the Director of RowdyHacks. The RowdyHacks Committee will organize ACM’s hackathon, RowdyHacks.

• Setting the date of RowdyHacks.
  • Includes ensuring there are no conflicts such as holidays, major university events, departmental events, and major due dates pertaining to classes (tests and major projects).
• Contacting sponsors for funding.
  • Includes creating the Sponsorship Letter and Sponsorship tiers.
• Finding and reserving the official location of RowdyHacks.
• Creating and distributing branding, including logo, flyers, website, etc.
• Finding and securing catering for all meal times (dinner, breakfast, lunch, and snacks).
• Ordering t-shirts, prizes, and promotional merchandise.
• Creating the schedule of RowdyHacks.
• Ensuring smooth setup and teardown of RowdyHacks.
