• Presiding and leading at all meetings of RowdyHacks and ACM Council.
• Ensuring that all Directors and teams complete their duties.
• Dedicated to growing the community and network of RowdyHacks.

Role Expectations

The RowdyHacks Chair will help plan ACM’s annual hackathon RowdyHacks.

• Gather a special committee to help with RowdyHacks.
• Help recruit students and sponsors for the event.
• Communicate directly with the Computer Science Dept. and UTSA to plan the event.
• To ensure that the Director of RowdyHacks has a proper understanding of the needs and the demands of the the position, Director of RowdyHacks must be a former officer or junior officer unless there is no competition between former members of the Council, in which case any member satisfying the other requirements of an officer shall be eligible.
