The Vice President of ACM UTSA plays a crucial role in supporting the President and ensuring the smooth operation of the organization. The VP acts as an extension of the President and is typically the President’s closest advisor. They should stand in for the President in the case that they are absent or otherwise unavailable. This position requires leadership, initiative, and strong communication skills.
Besides the day-to-day for all officers, the VP also has the following daily responsibilities:
- Keep up engagement for members in the Discord and Officers in Slack
- Ensure all meetings for the day are on portal and RowdyLink
- Help answer officers’ questions and work with them to solve problems
- Ensure ACM follows all rules set by UTSA and ACM National
