Why I’m Running:
As a woman navigating through the tech industry, seeing the work that ACM-W does fills me with a sense of gratitude, empowerment, and motivation. The efforts of this organization to promote diversity and inclusion in technology have helped create a more welcoming and supportive environment for women in the industry. As a beneficiary of their work, I feel a deep sense of responsibility to pay it forward by advocating for diversity and inclusion in technology and supporting other women in their pursuit of a career in computer science. By becoming a Public Relation officer, I believe I can leverage the power and influence of the platform to further advance their mission of promoting diversity and inclusion in the technology industry.
