This past year I was involved with ACM as a Junior Officer, helping set up various ACM events, being involved in meetings, and helping with outreach. I was able to see behind the scenes of the ACM leadership team which showed me how to lead ACM events, how to represent ACM, and overall better my technical and social abilities as well. They have encouraged me to not only be a better leader and computer scientist, but also a better me. I feel inspired by them and will guide and lead future Junior Officers and ACM members to be better leaders, computer scientists, and better people as well. Having junior officer experience coupled with past leadership position in high school will make me an excellent as an ACM Officer.
