Officers | What is standup?

A standup is a quick report-out of your accomplishments (from the past week) and your future goals (for the next week). Standups should be brief and to the point (think bullet points).
This is also an opportunity to voice any challenges you are facing or collaboration with another team member you need which affect your ability to complete your goals. From here, you can plan with other team members to communicate at another time or through direct messages in order to overcome obstacles and reach your goals. It is important that this extra communication happens outside of the standup in order to preserve brevity.

ACM Officers participate in a weekly standup in our officer chat where we check-in. An officer uses bullet points to describe what they did, what they're going to do, and if there is anything hindering their progress.
